This 12 week part time course with ICHAS (Irish College of Humanities & Applied Sciences) takes place in Griffith College Dublin. The course examines the theoretical workings of the behavioural and cognitive behavioural approach and why it’s considered essential to effective practice. This module should also provide a coherent understanding of the relevant value of behavioural approaches.
The Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Approaches in Interpersonal Practice is specifically designed to raise awareness of the fundamental theoretical and
practical applications of CBT approaches in interpersonal care. It will emphasise the importance of structured assessment and interventions based on theoretical understandings of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, its evolution and traditions.
